3 Things You Need To Know About Your Member Jungle Trial

Date:

So you have officially signed up for a free 30-day trial of Member Jungle, and now you're wondering where to start. What should you do first? Well, this is the time to explore and test the system and see if it suits your club or association.

This is basically your first date with the Member Jungle system. You have to check it out, work out if you will get along if you work well together, and if it has a healthy relationship with its parents. Okay, maybe that last one doesn't apply here, but you get the drift.

You have already done the hard work of comparing different systems, looking at their pros and cons, and reading reviews. Now, you can take the fun part, that is, customising and exploring your trial site to find out if it's the right fit for you. Today, we will discuss what you need to know and what you should try first now that your free trial is live.

1. Your Current Trial Site Is Fully Functioning And Live

The trial site you have just been given access to is a fully functioning and live website. While in trial, it can do everything you want from a membership management system. This gives you an amazing opportunity to explore it fully and test out all of its systems to see if you like them and if they are going to work for you and your club.

Member Jungle isn’t the only membership system out there; there are others, and you need to be sure that we really are the best choice for you. So, thoroughly explore your site and work out how all of the systems work and how you can use them to your advantage.

Be sure to test how the following systems work:

  • Sending member renewals
  • Setting up events
  • Sending emails
  • Posting news and blogs
  • Creating an email newsletter
  • Tracking engagement
  • Customising your website
  • Setting up your product store
  • Testing out the Member Jungle App
  • How to give permissions to your admin team

Keep in mind, though, that your site is actually live. This means that it is really connected to the internet, and it will actually send real emails out to people, so bare that in mind as you test.

2. This Is Your Real Site

If you decide to sign up with Member Jungle, the trial site you have access to will become your actual site. Any changes or customisations you make now will still be there when you onboard with us.

This means that you can spend the next month fully customising your website. If you love taking your time and really diving into dotting all the I's and crossing all the T's of your web design, then go for it. However, if that's not your thing, you can hire one of Member Jungle's professional web designers to fully customise your website or have them apply a template.

All the work you put into making your trial site look good and set up exactly how you want it will still be there if you decide to sign up. So, take your time and test out all the features Member Jungle has to offer. If you find that the system works for you, all the hard work you've put in will stay.

I would suggest that during your trial if you're required to name something in the system or provide a description, you take the time to do it properly. In my experience, it's all too easy to think, " Oh, I'll come back and do that properly later," fix that and then completely forget. I'm speaking from experience; my phone is filled with notes that were understandable when I took them in some meeting or interview but now are utter gibberish because I forgot to go back and edit them.

That's a long way of saying. Just name things correctly the first time and save yourself and your members from confusion.
