How To Work Out How Much Member Jungle Will Cost Your Club

You have realised that you’re not managing your club or organisation in the best possible way. You have done your research, and you have found membership management systems. You know how they work and all the great things they can do for your club. 

As you review the prices, you may be curious about the total cost. Fortunately, Member Jungle has recently launched a pricing calculator to assist you. This will help you calculate the specific cost of your preferred Member Jungle package. 

Today, I will guide you through the process of using the pricing calculator to work out your price. I will also do my best to explain why the prices of different things vary so you have a better understanding of how this process works. 

How To Use The Member Jungle Pricing Page

It will look like this when you first get onto the Member Jungle pricing page.

 

 

The first thing to know is that if you click on the little box on the left that says currency. You will be able to select your preferred currency and view the rest of the page in the currency of your choice.

You can also choose between billed monthly and billed yearly. There is a little button just above the packages where you can choose between monthly and yearly billing. If you choose the yearly billing option you will receive a 10% discount on your fees as compared to the monthly option. 

Once you’ve done that, you can scroll down to view the rest of the page. Next, take a look at the three available packages: Essential, Standard, and Premium. Each package allows access to the entire Member Jungle membership management system, but some important distinctions exist between them.

• Different features and tools
  Each package provides access to a varying amount of features and tools. The Premium package offers the most advanced features and tools.
   
• Different amounts of included members
  Each package comes with a different number of included members. This is not a limit on the number of members you can have but how many members you can have for free. 
   
• Different upfront and recurring prices
  The price of each package varies based on how many tools and features are in your chosen package and how many members you have. Basically, the more complicated your system is, the more it will cost.

Here are some key differences worth mentioning;

• There are limits on the number of Membership Levels per package, however you can have unlimited Membership Products in all levels. To find when you need a level vs a product see Do I need a membership level or product here.
   
• All packages automatically send renewal notices however Standard or Premium packages also have Auto Renewing Subscriptions (i.e. monthly subscriptions)
   
• If you are wanting a stand-alone Online Store page, to run Polls or have a Business Directory you will need from Standard upwards.
   
• You will also need to have Standard or Premium if you need the system to manage Family or Corporate memberships for you.
   
• If you want to remove Member Jungle Branding from automated emails, Priority Support or Advanced Restricted Membership access settings you will also need to go for the Premium package.

How To Use The Member Jungle Pricing Calculator

The Member Jungle pricing calculator allows you to select the package that best suits your club's needs. It is worth noting that you do not need to choose a setup option. You can choose to do the setup yourself for free, or you can choose a setup option and pay for us to do it for you. 

Now all you need to do is set the number of members you have, choose a package, and see if you would like any setup options or any optional extras. You will then get an estimate of how much your yearly subscription fee will be and how much the upfront costs are. All calculator estimates are by default with yearly billing including the 10% savings. There is a link underneath the estimate section that allows you to switch into the monthly billing calculator.

So you know now how the pricing calculator works and how to get a price quote tailored to your club’s needs. So, let’s talk briefly about why the price varies between the packages and the options. 

Why Member Jungle’s Prices Vary 

Our pricing for membership management services is flexible and tailored to your specific needs. You only pay for what you require and can even add optional extras to your package. 

The cost of your membership system is based on the number of members and the tools and features you require. Each package an included a number of members, and you can pay for extras over that limit, with the exception of the Community package, which has a maximum of 100 members. The additional member price increase will be a part of your ongoing subscription costs. If you need more tools and features, you will need a higher package which will increase both the ongoing subscription fee and the set-up fee. 

For instance, a club with 500 members may pay $169 AUD per month for the Standard package, while another club with the same number of members might prefer the Essential package and pay $149 AUD per month by adding extra members. You have the power to customise your package to fit your club's requirements. However, each package includes a one-time onboarding fee that varies depending on the package you select.

It is also important to know that the member counts only include, Current, Pending and Expired members. They do not include Removed or Archived Members (however their data stays in your system), nor do they include subscribers or other people with an account in the system.
