How You Can Troubleshoot For Your Members On The Member Jungle App

When it comes to technology, we have all made mistakes. At one of my first jobs out of school, I was told that to move files from one place to another; I would need to click on them and then drag and drop them into the next folder. 

I’m sure we’ve all heard of dragging and dropping files, but I can be a bit of an airhead sometimes. So, I thought that I was being told to “dragon drop” the files. Finally, after like three weeks of this, I built up enough confidence to ask the person training me why moving files was named something as metal as Dragon Drop. Needless to say, it still keeps me up some nights. 


 

 

Some of your members will undoubtedly need help with the Member Jungle app. It doesn’t matter how simple we make the Member Jungle app or how well you teach your members how to use it; there will always be some members who will need some extra help. 

So, let’s talk about how you can help your members when they have trouble using the Member Jungle club app. In this article, we will be covering how to help your members with the following: 

• Forget their password
• Forget their username
• How to use the app better

How To Help Your Member When They Forget Their Password Or Username

First of all, if a member forgets their password or username, they are able to reset it without ever talking to a member of your administration team. That said, there is a decent chance that instead of doing that, they will send you a flustered email or text asking for help. 

Show Them How To Reset Their Password Themselves

The simplest way to help your members is also the best in the long run, and that is simply to show them how to reset their password themselves. Again, this is super simple, but let’s get into it. 

Firstly, when they are trying to log into the app, they will see the below page. 

 

 

This is pretty self explanatory, but all they need to do is click on “Forgot Your Password?” and then the following page will come up.  

 

 

Then, all they need to do is enter their username and email and do the I’m not a robot test and a link to reset their password will be sent to their email. That’s honestly it. 

Show Them How To Reset Their Username Themselves

Doing this is pretty much identical to resetting a password, except, of course, that they need to click “Forgotten Your Username” instead of password. They will then be brought to the following screen. 

 

 

 

All they need to do now is enter their name and email address and do the I’m not a robot test, and then they are golden. They will be sent a link to their email to tell them their username. 

Reset Passwords And Find Usernames From The Website

If you don’t want to show your members how to do this themselves or if they are a little slow at picking up what you’re putting down, you can do it for them. 

From the website, as an administrator, you can log on, check members’ usernames and send them links to reset your password. You can quickly and easily look through your member list and find members’ usernames and email addresses to help them if needed. 

How To Help Your Members Use The App Better In Future 

As I’m sure you’re aware, there is a whole library of help articles on the Member Jungle Support Portal to help you use the system. There are plenty of articles on how to use the Member Jungle app and all the various functions of it, but there is also an article on using the app as a member. 

This article basically covers everything your members could ever want to know about how the app works. Seriously, have a look at this screenshot showing all the topics this article covers. 
 

 

You should probably consider turning some of this information into emails, how to’s on your site and even printouts for your members. Doing so will allow you to help your members learn the ins and outs of the app better, reduce the amount of questions you’re getting and increase the number of members using the app.
