Member Jungle Product Release: February 2024

February has come and gone in the blink of an eye, but it's left us with a flurry of exciting developments here at Member Jungle. Our dedicated development team was hard at work crafting another fantastic product release. The majority of new releases this month originated from feature requests from customers, so we really hope that they all hit the spot and help out exactly how you hoped they would. 

The highlights of this update are all about making organising and running events for your club easier. These include the ability to create colour-coded event types to make sorting through events easier. A new one-month calendar widget that displays these new colour-coded event types and a few other little quality-of-life improvements you’re sure to notice.  

Another major highlight of this month's releases is the ability to set subscription products for your members. Allowing you to charge your members an ongoing subscription fee for services or products you supply.

Events

Event Types

You can now create Event Types and colour-code them for each type of event. Event Types will show a colour code next to each event on the General Event Display. 



 

Single Month Calendar Widget: Showing Event Types

The single-month calendar widget has now been improved to allow website viewers to select if they would like to see a month, week, year or list of events. It also now shows colour-coded event types if they are set up and has extra configuration settings, so you can select which categories or views you would like to show.

Changed Restricted Access Settings for Scheduled Emails

If you are using restricted access settings on your website for each membership level, anyone who also has event administration access will only be able to send scheduled emails to their restricted member levels.  All other access remains the same.
 

PRODUCT CATALOGUE

Role/Tag Restricted Categories

You can now add role and member tag restrictions on product catalogue categories. This will enable you now to have categories of products that are only available to certain members or committee member groups.
 

MEMBERSHIP

Membership Subscriptions

You can now add a member to a subscription product as an administrator and process their first payment by entering their debit or credit card number.
