Member Jungle YouTube Page - A Valuable Resource For Your Club Or Association

In today’s world, YouTubers are a big deal. Just two days ago, as of the time of writing, one very famous YouTuber had what I, as a lifelong boxing fan, would call a deeply untalented, embarrassing sham fight against an all-time great who should have really given up life inside the squared circle after the Lewis fight in 2002. 

Despite showing less athletic ability and pugilistic talent than a schoolyard scrap, that YouTuber got paid $40 million for the fight, plus god knows how much else in endorsement deals. I’m serious; he made Tyson Fury punching himself in the face look graceful in comparison. 

 

 

My point is that YouTube and its reach have come a really long way since its first-ever video, a 19-second video titled “Me At The Zoo,” published on the 24th of April 2005. 

Member Jungle has been posting videos on YouTube for a while now; our first YouTube video went up in 2017. However, this year, we have been slowly gearing up to turn more of our focus onto our YouTube page. We have recently given the page a facelift and got someone onboard who knows their way around posting great YouTube and social media content, i.e. a Gen Z. I’ve even dusted off my old professional-ish video editor skills from my previous job. In the coming year, we will be posting a lot more content.

So today, let’s take a quick look at what is on our YouTube Page and what will be happening there in the year to come. 

What You'll Find On The Member Jungle YouTube Channel

Don't worry; we aren't going to start posting video game playthroughs, make-up tutorials or, god forbid, those awful "prank" videos. Instead, we'll be sharing a wealth of valuable content specifically designed for clubs and associations. Our aim is to provide helpful information for both long-time users of Member Jungle and for those who have only just heard of us. 

Tutorials and How-To Guides

We have started posting all our tutorials and how-to guides on using the Member Jungle system on our YouTube. Everything from how to set up your committee members with the correct access levels to live demonstrations of brand-new features and a lot more. 

All these videos are already on the Member Jungle Help Portal to watch whenever you need them, but they are spread out over a dozen different places. Having them all in one place on the YouTube page is going to make it a lot easier for you to find exactly what you are looking for. Plus, there will be a lot more tutorial videos being added in the future.

Customer Stories

Over the last year, I have been interviewing several Member Jungle customers about their experiences, finding, choosing, onboarding, and running their clubs and associations with Member Jungle. Now, all of these interviews are available in written form on the Member Jungle website. However, we have been trying to do more video and in-person interviews where the situation allows.  

 

 

All these video interviews and case studies are up on our YouTube page, and there are plenty more on the way. Later this year, I will be heading down to Sydney to film another in-person interview with a customer about their experiences. And who knows what 2025 has in store for case studies? 

Maybe the “Napping In A Hammock On A Tropical Island After Drinking Several Cocktails Club Inc.” will join up with Member Jungle, and I will have no choice but to fly out to interview them for a few weeks. For accuracy, of course.

Introductory Videos To Member Jungle

For anyone just starting to look into membership management systems in general or Member Jungle in particular, there are several videos on our YouTube page that give you plenty of background info on how this all works. 

New Feature Demonstrations   

Member Jungle is always evolving and adding new features and functionality, a lot of which come from feature requests. Often, when new features come out, especially larger ones, we will add a new video to give you a little run-through on the new feature. 

It makes learning how this new feature works and how it can help your club or association that much easier.  

Extras & Shorts

Finally, on our YouTube page, we have a collection of YouTube Shorts, most promoting new articles that have been posted on the Learning Centre. 

In case you don't know, we publish three articles each week that cover a wide range of topics, including club management tips, Member Jungle insights, important news about the state of membership organisations, and much more. 

These YouTube Shorts are a great way to stay informed about new articles that you may find interesting and useful.

Plus, we will occasionally throw up funny extra videos of something the team has been up to or something funny that has happened. 

Why You Should Subscribe To The Member Jungle Youtube Page

Basically, Member Jungle’s whole deal is making it much easier and more streamlined for you to run your club or association, and our YouTube page is just another way we are able to help do that. 

Now, I know that some of you just aren’t interested in videos, and that’s okay. The articles and the Learning Centre aren’t going anywhere. As much as I enjoy making and editing videos, I much, much prefer writing; it’s why I majored in journalism and English lit and only did media production because it was compulsory for my degree. So, if you prefer reading over watching, then have no fear. 

However, I know that some people really prefer videos to reading, and if that’s you, I’m proud of you for making it this far into any article.
