Member Jungle Product Release: November 2024

Summer is finally here for us in the Southern Hemisphere; warm weather, beach trips,  BBQs and backyard cricket await. The Member Jungle development team have spent the lead-up to summer working overtime to bring you a whole host of brand-new exciting event features that will make planning and running events with the Member Jungle system easier than ever before. So, let’s have a look at all the new features.  

The biggest change this month has been the addition of recurring events. Shortly you will be able to set up one event in your system and choose to make it recurring, having it repeat as often and as many times as you like. Events

There are a lot of new event features this month, so many, in fact, we have a whole article on them. So read New Event Features That Have Just Been Released On Member Jungle for more details. 

Event Registrations On The Website

We have had the display of event registrants on the app for quite some time, but the same information is available on the website. Registrations are only shown if you select the 'Show Registrations' option in the Events Administration area.

Limit Tickets To Members Only

We have rebuilt the ticketing component of the Events Administration area and one of the changes is to allow tickets to be available only to specific Roles or Membership Tags. For example, you may have an event that is for your members, but you may wish to show that event publicly to encourage more people to use your club.

You can also create tickets with completely different prices for the public and any member level.

Discounts

You can now apply discounts to tickets in dollar amounts or percentage amounts. Discount percentages can now be specified to two decimal places.

Event Contributors

People who have the Event Contributor permission via a Security Role can now see registered members' details and scan attendees into an event.

Recurring Events

It has been a long time coming and quite a complex change, but recurring events have arrived in Member Jungle.

PowerData Forms Module

The PowerData Forms module has also been given a makeover. There is new reporting (similar to the Custom Reporting in Membership), and you can also email a reply to the person who submitted the form, either individually or in bulk. https://support.memberjungle.com/powerdata-forms-module#reviewing-form-submissions

Blog

The Blog Module has added some extras for those wishing to tune their SEO parameters. SEO Meta items like page title, page description and keywords can be edited, and a permanent friendly link name can be added.

Member Jungle App

You can now filter events in the Member Jungle app with Event Types and Event Categories.
