The 3 Best AI Tools To Use For Your Club - That We Actually Use

There are so many AI tools out there, and more keep popping up every day; it is hard to keep up with them all. It’s like fighting a robotic hydra: As soon as you check one out, three more sprout up in its place. 

 

 

To help with the overwhelming number of new artificial intelligence-powered programs out there these days, I thought that today, I would go over the three best AI tools that you should be using to help manage your club or association. Also, these aren’t just random tools that I found on some list online; these are all AI tools that I and the rest of the Member Jungle team use day in and day out. So these are all tried and tested AI tools.  

So, without any further ado, let’s get into it. 

1. Google Gemini For Your Club Or Association

As I'm sure you know, the launch and rise of ChatGPT saw the popularity of generative AI rapidly spike, with everyone and their grandma getting in on the action. Every news station and newspaper in existence did an intro that was written by ChatGPT to prove how good it sounded, YouTubers dedicated hours to talking about it, and even South Park did a tongue-in-cheek episode on it, where they used it to help write the episode. 

 

 

I admit that I wasn't an early adopter of ChatGPT because I have concerns about AI's consequences and impacts. However, after seeing how much time it could save me, I realised I needed to try it. Honestly, it was great; it saved me a ton of time and made organising my work a lot easier. 

However, several months ago, Google released Gemini, its competitor to ChatGPT. So, I decided to test it out and ended up writing an article comparing the two, in which I declared that Google Gemini had officially dethroned ChatGPT and was the best generative AI program available. Well, since I wrote that review, I have been using Google Gemini, and I have not looked back. So, for anyone looking to use a generative AI program like ChatGPT to help brainstorm ideas, create content, edit emails, and make their life simpler, I would recommend Google Gemini. 

Google Gemini can be used for everything from writing content, generating ideas, helping code, brainstorming and pretty much anything else you can think of. As proof of this, I asked it to make me a Chilli Con Carne recipe, and it did a great job. 

 

 

My only alteration to this would be to add a little bit of 70% cocoa dark chocolate right at the end of cooking. It helps balance the flavours, but too much, and you’ll ruin it. Sorry, that’s enough for cooking corner this week. Let's get back to the article.

2.  Canva For Your Club

Canva is a widely used graphic design platform that is great for creating images and graphics for your club or association. While not exclusively an AI-powered platform, Canva integrates several AI features that can significantly enhance the design workflow.

These AI features, many of which are available with a Canva Pro subscription, include:

• Background Remover: This tool automatically isolates subjects from their backgrounds, simplifying image editing.
   
• Enhanced Image Editing: AI algorithms power tools that allow for precise object removal and refined adjustments within images.
   
• Colourisation: This feature can effortlessly transform Black and white images into colour.
   
• Text to Speech: Canva can generate natural-sounding voiceovers from text, adding an auditory dimension to designs.
   
• Smart Mockups: Users can visualise their designs on realistic product mockups, which are useful for showcasing branding or merchandise.
   
• AI Image Generator: This feature allows users to generate unique images from detailed text descriptions.
   
• AI Avatars: Canva can create distinctive avatars based on user preferences and styles.

 

Beyond its AI tools, Canva offers an extensive library of pre-designed templates, stock images, videos, and design elements. Canva is an incredibly useful tool with lots of AI features that I use every day. If you see an image, table or graphic in any of my articles, chances are I made it or at least edited it in Canva. 

Just to showcase some of these great AI features, I threw a few pictures of Ali into Canva and edited them. 

 

 

As you can see, it did an amazing job of colouring one of the photos. For the other, I removed the background and stuck it over a picture of a forest (it looks odd in the forest, but it is to demonstrate the background remover). Then, I mocked up another photo to be in a pamphlet format. 

Canva did an excellent job, especially considering these are all 50-plus-year-old grainy photos. It will work even better with modern high-resolution images. 

3. JungleVision AI For Your Club

AI image generators are emerging as powerful tools for clubs. They offer the ability to create unique, customisable, and eye-catching visuals that enhance communication across various platforms. Honourable Mentions - Good AI Programs To Use For Your Club

So, those were the three best AI tools I would recommend you use for your club or association, and they are all the ones we at Member Jungle use. However, I thought I’d throw in some extra programs that are great, and you may want to consider using them if you don’t want to use any of the above. 

 

• Grammarly - Grammarly is an AI-powered editor that is massively useful. I use it every single day. If you are writing a lot of content, then Grammarly is a great choice. 
   
• ChatGPT - It may have (in my opinion) been surpassed by Google Gemini, but it is still a 9/10 system that is absolutely worth using if you don’t want to use Gemini. 
   
• Adobe Premier Pro - While not an AI program, this video editing software has some great AI features for those looking to make long-form club videos. It has a much steeper learning curve than Canva but offers more advanced video editing features.  
   
• Dall-E - If you are not going to use JungleVision AI  to generate your images, then Dall-E is a good alternative.
